ENTAnet has revised its broadband product range
To take into account the various new services available now the 21CN network is being rolled out ENTAnet are rationalising their product range. All existing customers will be placed on another product similar to the one they are on currently.
ENTAnet have contacted all their customers to explain this and tell them which new product would be most appropriate for them. The change will be made automatically on the next billing date unless you contact ENTAnet or Realcom to ask for a different product. This is easy to do over the phone or by email.
In general the prices are the same or slightly lower for similar bandwidth service. the main difference is the way that overuse of bandwidth is managed. previously you were charged a penalty fee that was taken from your next direct debit. Now you are charged on the amount of overuse. You can choose to prepay for overuse units or - more conveniently - set a limit on how much overuse charge you will pay and payment will be taken from your next direct debit.
Email me if you have any queries about the options available.

Realcom has gained Microsoft Small Business Specialist status
Realcom has many years experience of supporting small businesses and, indeed, organisations of various types and sizes. But today we have officially been granted Small Business Specialist status. To gain that status our engineer Andreas has successfully completed a rigorous exam to show his understanding of small business needs, his ability to advise on suitable technical solutions and understanding of how to install and support Microsoft products. The marketing team also had to demonstrate awareness of small business needs and the current software and licensing options.
We have added that to our Authorised Education Reseller status. This allows us to advise schools and charities on suitable licensing arrangements and sell them Microsoft products at greatly discounted rates.
